Kanaan Message for Today
A father who loves his child does not like to see anything bad or unpleasant in him. But no father loves his child as much as the heavenly Father loves us. He is untiring in His efforts to make our souls beautiful. Should we not thank Him for the trouble He takes with our upbringing? When He leads us along paths of suffering, let us renounce all self-pity. Our suffering, which we have often brought about through our own sin, is not worth the tears — rather should we weep for God’s sorrow and the trouble we cause Him. Let us thank our heavenly Father for taking such great pains to bring us up properly, to make us beautiful and happy for all eternity. Then our cross will begin to shine.
